OK - what else? long story...
Bruce Bendinger, the one of the fathers of the Project, is "one of Chicago's Creative superstars." well-known in advertising - with great friends and him having creative team that helped put the Project together. His wife, smart and beautifull lady, U would look very long time for such a woman...Lorelei is an Executive Producer. She puts the shoot together. These days, their primary business is publishing textbooks for Universities.
You can meet Nick and Jim at Radio City, Chicago, Illinois, the audio experts - and come and see ...or do not hesitate to meet Augie Augenstein - the cameraman and Final Cut Pro expert and lights magician, great pleasure to discuss topics and smoke a cigarrette with him....
The editor of the movie was David Szabo - also very well-known in Chicago. Augie and David - an Austrian and a Hungarian helping make this film about Czechoslovakia - that's America for Czechs and Slovaks. Actually, the Chicago is a small Babylon, many nations, many languages spoken there... (...said .. some 147 languages spoken there...)
The Project Legion has got a great support from the Chicago Czech Community, one of the biggest is just in Chicago - support comes also from good friends like e.g. Marek Skolil - the Counselor General, who has been very helpful. Jean Hruby and the American Sokols - also.
Funding of the Project Legion came from the Tawani Foundation and from other friends. Very handfull tool is…an Apple computer. The small fruit helps there many...
Besides…Other things - John Iltis - leading film PR person in Chicago, is of the Czech origin, his father comes from Teplice. Irena Cajkova - instructor at University of Chicago has been a great help to all people from the team, helps with Czech mentality and so on… and not to forget.. the Universitiy of Chicago was delighted to host video shoot - with the big portrait of Masaryk in the Classics Cafe. There have been more persons involved e.g. Rob Streit - former professor of Czech and Russian at University of Chicago, who gave the Czech with an American accent flavour to the new coming up Czech version (probalby coming up in March/April 2010).
And what does OK business, s.r.o. have to do with all that? One of the owners is supporting the Project…why.. for many reasons...first of all, he likes excited people, he likes enthusiastic people and more...working with these people is a great experience as the work with professionals is... additionaly, they are more proud of the Czech history than some Czechs are, he is very proud...and besides he is a member of CsOL, crazy as well, spending his holidays on the Project, dubing it, filming scenes, for no income, just for fun and faith.... BTW, u start to work with these "sick" people and all of a sudden U have friends with same thinking, same drive to the issue...
